Turnings

Turning provides the opportunity to create beautiful ornaments, exquisite bowls, elements of furniture or architectural design.

Architectural Enhancements

A mantel for your fireplace, a bar for entertaining, a balustrade to add an artistic flair to you home - these are things I can do for you.

Furniture

Creating furniture for everyone. Custom furniture for the discerning client is available for the asking.

Installation

Installation may include involving other professionals, depending on the project. That will be determined at the time of design.

I aspire to provide items for the home that customers will be proud to pass on to future generations. The products range from decorative turnings and custom furniture to architectural elements, creating a space for your personal comfort.

The Gallery houses the old and new.

About Me

I was raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and make my home there today. My studio is in Jonas Ridge on the edge of the Pisgah National Forest. I began turning as a child and became accomplished enough to be recognized by the American Woodturners’ Association while I was in high school. They awarded me an Education Opportunity Grant to study in Japan in Yamanaka and to also share with the Japanese artists what American woodturners were doing. I attended Haywood Community College where I received an Associates Degree in Professional Woodworking. I then attended Appalachian Center for Craft at Tennessee Tech University where I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
